We understand the reality of navigating a broken medical system with chronic illness, because we’ve been there too
The American healthcare system is beyond broken and millions of people are suffering because of it. You don’t have to continue being one of them.
After battling unexplained fatigue and allergy symptoms throughout adolescence, I began experiencing ever worsening digestive symptoms for more than a year before receiving a dreaded diagnosis of Crohn’s Disease. The next half decade watched me fight for my life while navigated a the dumpster fire of hospital system logistics. From my bed, with 12 (yes, that’s not a typo) IV lines running into me my family was rushed in twice, wondering if they were coming to say goodbye.
All of the above happened during an era I was lucky enough to have some of the best insurance coverage to ever exist in middle class America, and it still damn near killed me.
Fast forward to current, where over 1/4 of Americans struggle to pay for generic medications, insurance shareholders control what pharmacists can disclose to you, and most doctors spend 5 times as long charting as they do seeing patients - even with most of them feeling worse now than ever before.
I created AceMed Seattle so you can have a doctor who truly understands what you are up against, both as a provider and patient.

Our Process To Guide You
-
1 - Become A Patient
Contact us via text or call. We will gather some basic information to create your patient profile. A few minutes later, you will receive an email to activate it. Inside, you’ll have access to our intake forms, questionnaires, clinic policies, and details to set you up for success during the first visit.
-
2 - Attend Your First Appointment
We dedicate 60 minutes on the schedule, allowing time for you to share the critical details and the nuances that are often just as important. Labs are often ordered at this appointment as well, usually billable to insurance. The focus of this visit is to get to know you as a person and gain understanding of your current symptoms. Your provider may give some beginning recommendations as well.
-
3 - Discuss Your Results
During this appointment, we will go over the results and ask any clarifying questions needed. Further testing or imaging may be ordered. Treatment recommendations are usually given at the end of this visit as well as referrals if indicated.
-
4 - Continue Your Journey
Your provider will recommend follow up visits to go over specialty labs that have been ordered, assess treatment effectiveness, and adjust your regimen as needed. In the beginning, these appointments are at short intervals, usually 1-4 weeks. As traction is gained, most patients are able to go longer between follow up visits, often 6-12 weeks or more.
